Exposure Science Group Projects
UC Davis has a growing program in expsoure science. Ongoing projects inlcude:
- A study on people's behaviors as related to exposure
- A study to look at exposures to flame retardants and other compounds in the environment
- A study to begin to understand the relative importance of various exposure pathways for exposure to phthalates in the environment
- A study investigating exposures to dairy workers in California's large dairy industry
- A study looking at exposures potentially related to Autism
- A study measuring levels of pollutants in small and medium buildings in California
- A study investigating exposures to migrant farm workers in the agricultural industry
- Development of a model for the US EPA to determine exposures to pesticides and other compounds used in the indoor environment
- Past projects include studies on exposures to hazardous air pollutants both in the home and workplace as well as in shopping and dining microenvironments. A risk ranking of hazardous air pollutants was also developed.
